Bone Mineral Densitometry

The diagnosis of Osteoporosis is the main indication for examining bone density. Women considering hormone replacement therapy may also be referred for this study.

The DEXA Scan is the proven, fast and simple method for the early diagnosis of osteoporosis. The scan takes approximately ½ hour. This test may be performed at our Eltham, Heidelberg or Reservoir clinics.
